NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER watch P.S. I Love You when you are PMSing. I hadn't seen it so we decided to rent it from On Demand last night. Bad idea. We were both bawling. :) Juno was ok. It wasn't all that like I had heard.

So Friday morning, someone broke in to our house while we were at work. The neighbors called the office because they saw the door open and heard Jazz raising hell. The office called our landlord and he called Hope. Hope headed home immediately and left a message for me at work as she left. I called her as soon as I got the message. We were both home by 10:30. Apparently Jazz made too much noise for whoever it was to stay and get anything, but they left the front door open. The neighbor across the street said Jazz was just staying at the front door like he knew he wasn't supposed to get out. Then something spooked him and he ran in to the backyard. The neighbor next door said he stayed out there a while barking at the house. Then he disappeared. When I got home, Hope was running all over the trailer park yelling for him. We spent all day looking in the woods behind the park, calling him, I drove all over looking for him. Hope's mom, sister, and niece came over to help us look. We talked to everyone in the park and no one had seen him. When kids got home from school, we started telling them we would give them money if they found him. That of course got them looking. At one point they came running saying they found him in the peanut field next to us. We ran through mud, barbed wire fences, woods, sinking sand, fields, everywhere trying to find him. We ran for atleast 5 miles. We only stopped when it got dark. We kept seeing a black dog but when we'd call Jazz, he'd stop for a second, look at us, and take off. We could never get close enough to see if it was really him. But there are sooo many dogs running loose around here. We have put posters up, left our number with people all around here, put an ad in the paper.

We spent all weekend crying and depressed as hell. You don't realize how much something is a part of your life until it is gone. Jazz was just always there, cuddling and loving on us. He had to be everywhere we were. He slept with us. He had to be right up against one of us. If we moved, he'd get up and move right back up against us. He'd get between us so he could feel both of us. No matter where we took him and how excited he was to see whoever, at the end of the day, he was ready to be with me and Hope. Hope had him for 4 and a half years, since he was old enough to leave his mother. He went through Katrina with her in New Orleans, went through a bad break up with her.

He was truly our child. And God, it hurts he is gone. We are slowly coming to terms with we probably won't ever see him again. I hope some old lady has him. He loves elderly women. Maybe someone needed more than we need him. But he has health problems so he can only eat certain kinds of food or he gets really sick. I hope they figure it out...

My weekend

So, I took Saturday off just for the hell of it. When I got off work Friday evening, we went to Ruby Tuesday's in Moss Point and had Alyce(Hope's sister)'s birthday celebration since we couldn't do it on the actual day. Three of her four kids were there and both her grandkids and her mother and me and Hope. After that we went to Alyce's house to go ghost hunting. We spent a lot of time out by the back woods until me and Misty couldn't take it anymore. We kept seeing a black shadow about 6 ft tall standing at the edge of the woods. Saturday we all went back to Alyce's. She made us tomato gravy and biscuits. We ate and chilled. Then after it got dark, we went to the Old Spanish Fort cemetary in Pascagoula. We got out with our video camera, EMF detector, and voice recorder. Then we thought we saw cops coming so we left. We went to Wal-Mart and then went back. This time, as we were driving through and about to stop and get out, Carrie (who was vidoe taping and a non-believer in ghosts and spirits) said " F#%^ this, get me out of her NOW!" So we left. As it turns out, we heard the EMF detector go off so Carrie put the video camera up to the window. While she was looking through the camera screen at what it was picking up, a white figure appeared. She looked up and couldnt see it outside, just on the screen. It scared the crap out of her. So we left. We went back to Al's because Carrie was freaked out and crying. After that, we went to Hurley and picked up Carrie and Misty's friend Amy. We went to an old abandoned house up in Hurley. Apparently, everyone that has owned that house has died in the house for no reason at all. It was VERY creepy. We didn't even get out of the truck. Then we went back to the cementary. We all got out. Hope and I could see someone standing in the back corner. So we wanted to go. But Carrie and Amy wanted to stay. So we made Hannah get in the truck and we pulled out of the graveyard and drove down by the water to turn around. We stopped at the entrance hoping they would come get in the truck but they didn't. So we drove down the street with the intention of just turning around. But a cop saw us and we only had one head light. So he turned around to follow us. He followed us for several block through the neighborhood and then finally headed back towards the cemetary. So we called Misty to warn them he was coming. He got there just as I called. Thankfully they saw him come after us so they ran down to the pier and sat down and acted like they were just chillin. So the cop passed us when he left so we went back and picked them up and headed back to Al's. We did dead time out by the pond and out by the woods. Finally we stopped because me, Hope, Amy, and Misty were feeling too much of a heaviness. So we came home and went to bed. So that was our excitement. We keep watching the video and have yet to come up with another explanation for the figure that appeared. We are eventually going to go back and see if we can come up with any other solutions such as lights, sky, trees, etc. But we are pretty sure it is supernatural because it was so dark and when we went back the second time we tried to find lights and skylines and such and couldn't.

And that was the good part of the weeked. Today I will clean, go apply for a job with another company, take hope's phone to hopefully get fixed, go to wal-mart, pay rent, and maybe do laundry.

Peace.

A really good weekend.

Elton John's concert Friday night got rescheduled for April 25th because he was sick. So Hope and I went and picked up her little nephews' tuxes for her nephew Michael's wedding. Then we went and hung out with her sister as she was totally wasted and needed to release some stress and feelings she had been bottling up. Saturday we went to Gautier mall with Hope's sister and niece to do some last minute shopping for the wedding. Then Hope's brother and his wife and kids came over. We got the boys dressed in their tuxes. The wedding was at 3 in Escatawpa. After that, the reception was at Scranton's in Pascagoula. Had fun there and then went on to Southern Comfort. While I was sitting there, Price text me and asked us to come up to the Watering Hole with him and Joe. So we did. Hope kicked both their asses in pool several times. They sang. Hope's mom and sister went home. Joe's drunk ass wanted to go to the Beau so we decided to go to their house first and then go to the Beau. But Joe, being as drunk as he was, was starting fights with guys by hitting on their girlfriends and getting their numbers. Poor guy didn't know they had boyfriends. So, we got to their house and Joe passed out. We stayed up with Price talking and listening to him play the banjo until about 3:30. Yesterday we slept in and the went to the Island View to check it out for a little while and then we came home and watched L Word. Good times....

Today I will go to Pascagoula and apply for a job at Zachary's and then grocery shop and clean. The owner of the football team that Hope played for in New Orleans sent her a myspace message last night begging her to come back this year. Hope had told her she wouldn't be able to play due to gas costs driving to and from New Orleans for practice and games and just the over all time it takes to travel and play. But the owner wrote back saying she didn't care if she came to practice or not, they wanted/needed her to play in the games. She said she would even mail the playbook so Hope could learn the plays. So that made her feel really good. So today we start getting her in shape for practice and games. I'm happy she is playing. She's an athlete by nature so she is happiest when she is playing a sport and part of a team. She played softball from the time she could walk up until college and had a softball scholarship and scouts wanting her for the US Olympic team. But she threw it away for her girlfriend at the time and kicks her own butt daily for doing that. So football means a lot to her.

Alright to go bathe myself now...

Update for the peoples

So, I haven't updated in a while so here goes.

I got to see Adrian while she was here. That was great. I also re-met Jen Smith and got to see Roxy.

We have steadily been working to make the trailer our home. We still don't have some big things we need but we are ok without them for now. We are settling in rather well and really like it.

I went to New Orleans two weekends ago to see my friend Vicky that I went to high school with and lived with for a while in Honduras. Another girl we went to school with was there too. It had been about 4 years since we had seen each other so that was great.

West is becomming the new Cingular. My friend Tonya was working there until she had to quit for person reasons. But yesterday I found that another Tonya that used to work at Cingular (the one Shayna keeps talking about) is in the new hire training class. But more importantly, my friend Price Patterson is in that class. I am so excited that I got to see him again.

Alright, that's about it for new news. I need to go clean. Yay.

Peace.

So.....

I finished training at West Asset Management. I now do customer finance for Sprint. I get up at 4:30 to get to work by 5:50 to work from 6-5. I'm off on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Starting next weekend Hope will have Sundays and Mondays off again so we can have our weekend together.

Hope and I moved in to a trailer in Grand Bay. It's not the prettiest place in the world but, it is ours. At least for the next year. We are doing some minor repairs around it and getting stuff for it to make it feel like home for us. It is so nice to be out of the hotel but yet not with family, just to have some space to ourselves. We are so happy with it.

Valentine's Day is this week. I wrote Hope a poem but I couldn't wait to give it to her. I think I am going to get her the new Sugarland CD that she wants.

I dropped my phone in water the other day so I have no phone for atleast another week.

So that is about it from me...

Well, we thought we were moving in with someone in Hurley, MS for a little while until we could find something better over this direction. But the person we were going to move in with is changing her mind and is probably going to take her psycho girlfriend back soon and let her move back in. So, today I am going to go through all our stuff and see what we can put in storage for now and what to keep out. We are going to be looking for a house around here, something close to the hotel and where I work.

Here are our top financial priorities now that I have a paycheck:

Get a house
Get new brakes and tires on Hope's truck
Get all the fluids and filters changed on Hope's truck ( we have to keep at least one vehicle in good condition so we don't both have POS's)
Get my truck fixed enough until I can get something better
Get my license back
Get money in both of our savings accounts

So, that's what we have to do and not a whole lot of time to do it in. But it will work out, somehow.

I had good holidays. New Year's we started out at Hope's sister's house. Then we went to the River Bend in Escatawpa. Stayed there are the bonfire for a few drinks. Then me, Hope, Alton, and Misty went to Biloxi beach and watched people do fireworks. Then we went to Tonya and Shannon's house. Goofed off there, calmed their drama, then we went to Just Us. My friend Cari was there and I hadn't seen her in months, so it was good to hang out with her. We got home around 6am.

Friday night we went and saw Rodney Carrington. That was funny. We hung between the Beau and Just Us all night. We finally left the Beau around 330. We were headed home, not exactly getting along, when Hope's nephew told us he had drama. So we turned around and went back to Hope's sister's house. Hope was sooooo drunk. She started drinking crown and coke around 7. And she stopped around 3. At some points she was drinking the crown straight and then other times she had triple shots in her drink. SO, she goofed off and danced and provided entertainment until about 630, then we all passed out. We came home, took naps, then went back over there to watch movies.

I started work at Wal-Mart yesterday. I had orientation last Thursday. And I started in a store yesterday. I am stocking. Only bad part is, I am very sick with a major cold. I feel like I have been run over by a dump truck. Last night, I ate the amazing pot roast Hope made, then took Alkaseltzer Cold and Sinus. If you have seen me on that before, you know I was asleep by 730. I got up after 11 and took more. I still feel like hammered dog shit but I need to get my butt up and get in the shower and go to work.

So, off I go.

So, I am getting extremely freakin aggravated/depressed about the not getting a job situation. I have applied for every cell phone, customer service, CNA, etc postion in the area. Nothing. I have a connection out at Chevron that just told me today that ther are hiring up to 500 people in the next two weeks and the guy he has to talk to will be back on Monday. With any amount of luck, I will get that job. It has decent start out pay with a chance to get a raise shortly after. There are several reasons I want this job.

It's the time of year I love most. I love the music, the decorations, the shopping, etc. Unfortunately, Hope isn't much on Christmas except for the kids. If it weren't for them, she wouldn't do anything. For some reason, I am really missing my family more than usual.

I hate being broke. I feel changes coming. Just not quite sure what kind or when it will happen.

I miss all my friends.

Love you all.

I have been MIA the past weekend. Why? Because both Hope's niece and her nephew's fiancee decided to go in to labor Saturday night. One at Ocean Springs and the other at Singing River. Aiden Michael was born at 330 am at Singing River and Kaili Alyce was born at 113pm at Ocean Springs. Both on September 23rd. So we have been going to between hospitals seeing babies and holding them and feeding them. Pics to come soon.

So, I am back from vacation. Now I need a vacation from my vacation.
Here is the run-down of the week.

Sunday- Decorated and helped with Misty's baby shower. Cleaned up. Left for Pcola. Left Pcola about 9pm. Drove to Orlando. Got lost 354687356786 times. Made it to the hotel at 5am.

Monday- Got up close to noon and started moving around. Left Faith at the room. The rest of us went to Sea World. We had a blast. Hannah, Anna, and I rode all the rides. Gracie had her bouts of cranky tiredness but she was a trooper. She loved the fireworks at the end of the night.

Tuesday- We all got up and went to Denny's for breakfast and headed to Magical Kingdom. Gracie threw some fits but we got past them. She was tired. We rode rides. Went to shows. Gracie loved the rockets and Magic Carpet rides. Hannah and I hit every roller coaster. The fireworks over the castle at the end of the night was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Wednesday- We went souvenir shopping. My back started spasming, which sucked REALLY bad. We went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. Then we did some more shopping then went to the world's largest McDonald's. They had a gourmet menu, pizza, ice cream, etc. It was painted like a jungle. The two upstairs floors was all games and play area. We went back to room, I rested while the kids swam. Then we went to another museum that looked like an upside down building. There were some cool things to do in there.

Thursday- We got up bright and early and headed home. We made it back to MS in time to watch the Saints game at Michael's house.

Friday- I went to Mobile for a job interview. Then we went to Grand Bay for a cook out.

Saturday- We chilled all day. Went to Buffalo Wild Wings with the family to watch some football. We were going to go to Joshua Sun but by the time we got down to Thunder's, the line was too long so we went home.

We came back to New Orleans last night. I just work today, tomorrow and Friday. We move to Mobile on Saturday.

We are post poning the wedding. We don't have the money to move and have the wedding plus there is some family drama surrounding it. So, I will update everyone once there is a new date set. We may just end up doing something just the two of us. Who knows...

I will post pics once they are uploaded...

Well, all three turtles are doing well. My days off have changed from Tuesdays and Wednesdays off to Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am working over time on Wednesdays for now. Sunday we are going to Hope's nieces baby shower and then leaving for Orlando. We are doing Disney World on Monday and Sea World on Tuesday. Maybe another day of Disney on Wednesday. Then we are coming back. Hope and I are going to stay at least one night in Mobile so we can go looking at some houses and apartments to find a place to live. I also am going to try to put in a few applications for jobs.

I wanted to go see Evan's Blue last night but Kristal's knee was hurting from having surgery last week. So we just went to Lager's and ate and had a couple of beers.

Hope has a football meeting tonight. So I may work until 9. That gives me 13 hours for today.

I'm tired.

So, I got home last night and all the turtles were still in their eggs. I had to pull the shells off of them and set them in the tank. Two of the eggs were duds, they never turned in to turtles. We now have 3 baby turtles slightly bigger than a half dollar. Hope named them Reggie, Duece, and Brees. And she calls the tank the Supertank. Saints fan much? They are so cute. As soon as I get the pictures uploaded from my camera, I will post them.

I don't remember if I wrote about this or not. Back in June a turtle laid eggs outside the hotel and Hope watched. Later that night we dug them up because she was afraid a rat that had been running around there was going to get them. We only took 5 of the eggs and burried the rest back. We looked online how to take care of the eggs, etc. We bought an incubator and kept an eye on them since. Hope just text me to tell me they are hatching. I am so excited. I'm shocked that we actually did everything right and they are hatching. Hope is now at walmart getting a tank to put them in. YAY!!!!!!

So, Hope's bosses have started hurricane preparations in case Dean comes this way. If Dean hits here, Hope HAS to stay at the hotel because she is the manager. Doesn't look like it will, but you never can tell. BUT, if it comes here, she wants me to go stay with her sister so that she can focus on taking care of the hotel and guests, etc. When Katrina hit, her gf at the time stayed with her and it just was too hard on her. We started talking about it this morning. And without warning, a lot of emotions came up from being out of town and not being able to get in touch with people to find out if they were ok and not knowing what was going on b/c they couldn't broadcast from MS. I was an emotional wreck and I had the person I was in love with there with me. I can't even imagine not knowing how my girlfriend is and not being able to contact her. I'm not ready for another big hurricane. I don't think anyone is.
